Eating at Cultivation Food Hall in Jackson, MS

When I visited Jackson, MS for a weekend trip, the Cultivation Food Hall was recommended to us as a delicious and unique place to eat. This food hall is the first of its kind in Mississippi.

It stands out from your typical food court because the food options aren’t from regular chain restaurants. The vendors are carefully curated to bring you foods of all types which are inspired by truly talented chefs.

Here’s my review of our experience at Cultivation Food Hall!

Bocca Pizzeria

Bocca is a pizza place that serves authentic Neapolitan pizzas made to order. They’re big enough to share, but the crust is thin. The pizzas taste like they are really from Italy!

I ordered the Pepperoni because I felt like getting something classic. It was great! The mozzarella cheese was very creamy, and the pepperoni slices were thin but very big.

So Much Variety!

A great thing about Cultivation is that, like any food court, it has options for everyone. If you take your family or a group of friends, people are bound to want to eat different things.

This is a great place to try different foods, and many of the dishes are big enough for two people to share. For example, the ramen bowls from Yuzu Ramen Shop are huge!

In this photo, you can also see some fried catfish from Honey Hush, the Southern comfort food counter.

And the choices don’t stop there! You can also sample Greek foods, Italian pasta, and Hawaiian Poké bowls.

Dessert

You can’t have a good food hall without having somewhere to get sweet treats after dinner! Whisk is the Creperie that sells gelato, macarons, and of course, crepes.

You can choose from several options, including savory crepes for dinner or sweet crepes for dessert. We tried two different sweet crepes, and I have to say, this was my favorite food that I got that day.

The Lemon & Sugar crepe is filled with chantilly cream, drizzled with lemon juice, and sprinkled with sugar. It was absolutely delicious!

We also tried the Sour “Barry” crepe with chantilly cream, mixed berries, berry coulis, and sour cream cheese sauce. It was also very tasty!

Atmosphere

Cultivation Food Hall isn’t just about the food; it’s about the atmosphere. The inside of the building feels very new and clean. There are plenty of windows to let in light, showing off the beautiful modern decor.
